Two men, one 1998 Toyota Starlet, and a seemingly endless amount of time to kill.

Stake Out is a short-form web series following Tom and Chris, dysfunctional partners in a semi-professional stake out business. Set entirely within the confines of Tom's 1998 Toyota Starlet, the series features guest appearances by an impressive selection of New Zealand actors and comedians.

This project marks the first of our many collaborations with the series co-creators Tom Sainsbury and Chris Parker. After meeting with the pair in late 2015, we agreed to independantly produce Season 2 of "Stake Out" on a shoestring budget. Following the release of Season 2, we were able to secure support from TVNZ to produce Season 3, which premiered on TVNZ OnDemand in 2017.
