On the verge of a breakdown, a highly-anxious man sets off on a multi-day hike through the New Zealand wilderness to clear his head - but can't shake the feeling that he is being followed.

"...a new national classic" - The NZ Herald

Tom Sainsbury makes his big-screen directorial debut in this independently produced feature horror. Loop Track premiered at the New Zealand International Film Festival in 2023, where it was the best selling New Zealand film of the festival and recieved critical praise from several national publications. In October that same year, Loop Track recieved a nationwide general release, playing in cinemas across New Zealand.

The film has also had success overseas - screening as part of several internationally renowned film festivals - including an Australian premiere at SXSW Sydney, and a North American premiere at Screamfest, where it played at the TCL Chinese theatre complex in Hollywood.

A labour of love, Loop Track was independantly produced and primarily self funded. It is the result of a small but dedicated team of local creators working against the odds. We are grateful for everyone involved in getting this project off the ground and bringing it to market.

The finished film is currently available to stream on demand across multiple platforms in several territories. Links can be found on the film's official website -
