Leilani Tominiko watched wrestling to escape transphobic bullying as a child - now the ring has became her "happy place".

Produced for Radio New Zealand's "Wireless Docs" series, this short documentary tells the story of Leilani Tominiko and her evolution from bullied kid into professional wrestler Candy Lee. Working closesly with director Roberto Nascimento, we produced, shot, and edited the film.
