Soph's directing journey began in her teens, creating parody horror films with her sisters and friends. Her talent for bringing people together on screen has only grown since.

With over a decade of experience, she has directed TVCs, online content, music videos, documentaries, and short films. Comfortable with any challenge, she has honed a sensitive approach to her craft - particularly through work with children and animals. Her clear vision and calm presence puts performers, clients, and crew at ease, while always encouraging collaboration.

Along with commercial and documentary projects, she is currently working on a New Zealand Film Commission-funded short film set for release this year.
